First principle approach to QCD with the FRG and applications

Recent progress of the fQCD-collaboration in calculating correlation functions in QCD starting from first principles within the FRG is discussed. Results for finite temperature correlation functions are considered, as well as the analytic continuation from Euclidean correlators to spectral functions. Taking approximations into account, the obtained spectra are used to get a handle on transport coefficients as well as the time evolution of fluctuations via a corresponding transport equation.
